Columbia Gorge field blend of two parts Sauvignon blanc and one part Grenache, this wine shows a radiant pink color with a delicate balance of crisp sauvignon and rounds out with Grenache fruit and mellow tannins from five months in french oak.
Pinot noir 2016
Grapes from York Hill Vineyard in the Columbia Gorge AVA. The site is a prized vineyard in a uniquely Hood River, Columbia Gorge, and Oregon location. As most top notch Pinot plantings are, Tom Mcgowan farms his grapes with one meter space between vines and single cordon trained. This produces low yields and concentrated Pinot noir characteristics. This is a deep ruby colored Pinot on french oak.
A big wine in all ways, this one shows classic Zinfandel qualities of high sugar berries with thick black skin. Robust and savory.
A unique blend of Petite Syrah and Grenache, This wine is rich and robust with a wide spectrum of fruit characteristics and chewy tannins lingering on the finish.
Our favorite house blend, which is our secret, this a full bodied palette filler with elements of fruit, wood, cellar and maker. She is dedicated to the house's hauntings and Harriette herself in particular.
Another exclusive rare varietal we offer, this is a grape originating from Umbria, Italy. Long on tannins, lingering broody fruits, and a complexity sure to please, this wine is a truly unique experience in the theater of wine.
A rare planting of this varietal in Yakima Valley on the upper Columbia Valley. Aglianico has been grown in ancient Europe. It was a much renowned grape with very few plantings left in the Old World. One of the most tannic and phenolic rich grapes grown, it also enjoys a strong acidity that is ideal for showcasing and ageing.
